The choristers of Christ Church Cathedral present the Vespers Magnificat of J. S. Bach. The piece existed with and without the Christmas interpolations in German and Latin, as well as parts in different keys to accommodate the French woodwinds and German organ which were tuned a whole step to a minor third apart (Called Kammerton and Chorton). This concert with orchestra should leave everyone in the true spirit of Christmas as the church presents its sixteenth Magnificat setting since September, but the first concerted version.
