Blake Beckemeyer, Evangelist

Concentus presents Heinrich Schutz’s Weihnachtshistorie, SWV 435, a work for singers and orchestra. Mr. Beckemeyer sings the sacred text from the gospel chronicling the birth of Jesus. It is more or less the same text that Bach sets in his Weihnachts-Oratorium, BWV 248 which he sang with Mae. Rilling as chorister in December 2017.
